The Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPO) is the leading provider of professional legal education courses in the Netherlands. It is part of the Radboud University Nijmegen. The CPO hosts a broad spectrum of legal training events, including Continuing Legal Education (CLE), conferences, seminars, in-company courses and other professional development and legal education programmes for all kinds of lawyers in all fields of law. It also conducts educational management services for various professional associations and foundations.
We are also offering courses with an international, European or comparative legal perspective to provide practising lawyers, both in- and outside the Netherlands, with the knowledge required to deal with the implications of international (legal) developments, and to offer them the possibility to learn from the legal systems in other countries.

Customized service
With tailor-made courses CPO enables you to achieve this for your own organization. Our regular customers include (large) banks, supervisory bodies, law firms, firms of civil-law notaries, businesses and local governments. A customized course can span half a day or several days. An in company course in your office means employees do not lose time travelling and you save on the costs for an external venue. The subjects and course materials can be entirely geared to your organization’s practice. And those are but a few of the assets of a tailor-made CPO course.

Accessibility CPO offices
The CPO (including the ‘CPO zaal’) is situated on the grounds of the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Grotius building (Montessorilaan 10 in Nijmegen). We advise to use public transport to reach the Grotius building.
Public Transport
Trains stop at ‘Nijmegen Centraal station’ and ‘Nijmegen Heyendaal’. You can plan your train journey on the website of the NS.
From Nijmegen station and Nijmegen Heyendaal station there are numerous busses heading towards the Grotius building. The bus stop for the Grotius building is Spinazogebouw/Tandheelkunde on the Erasmuslaan, see the map provided below.
During the holidays and weekends there will be fewer bus services that run to the University. Plan your trip on OV9292.
Car
All main approach roads to Nijmegen are signposted for ‘Radboud Universiteit’ on the ANWB road signs. Visitors attending a CPO programme are advised to park in P6, the underground car park beneath the Grotius Building. From parking level −2, lifts provide access to all floors of the building.
Please note that the surrounding area has a large number of one-way streets.
Paid parking: € 2.50 per hour, with a maximum of € 12.50 per day. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card, or other contactless payment methods. Cash is not accepted.
